Hey guys! My name is Presley - named after Elvis Presley of course. The full name is Presley Redd Simmons, but, i've always said that if i'm ever famous, i'll drop the Simmons and just be "Presley Redd". I guess this is a start...right?
presleyredd.com first launched my senior year of high school as a senior photography portfolio and business site...four years later i'd say it's time for a major rebrand. So, Welcome to my creative outlet.
Some fun facts about me, in case you're curious:
I am 21 years old - the baby of my friend group. Ironically enough I have always been the "party mom" type of friend; bringing snacks, sunscreen, water, and other needed necessities to everything, whilst acting as a recordkeeper and (sometimes) babysitter. I think it comes from my intense "type A" personality and being the oldest sibling.
I have an obsession with the Enneagram personality test. I'm an 8w9 which is VERY fitting if you know me in my personal life.
I have lived in seven states! I was born in Memphis, TN (hence the name Presley), but have also lived in Denver, CO; Spokane, WA; Dallas and Austin, TX; Billings, MT; Portland, OR; and just north of Atlanta, GA.
With the childhood of essentially nomadic travel, I've seen A LOT of the country. In fact, i've been to 32/50 states and counting as well as 20 National Parks.
Clearly, I'm a big nature gal. In my opinion, it was spending my early high school career in Billings, MT, right outside of Yellowstone National Park that changed the course of my life. Spending time in one of the most beautiful states in America brought me to a passion for travel, photography, modeling, and sustainability.
That being said, I am in the final year of my college career at The University of Texas at Austin (Hook Em' Horns) as an Environmental Engineering student. I am pursuing a career in sustainable fashion in an albeit unconventional way, but I wouldn't trade my college career for the world. Shoutout to my Dad for 'encouraging' me to study engineering.
This past Summer, I spent three months as a product and apparel integrity intern at Nike at the World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR, right outside of Portland. This experience was INSANE and solidified my love for sustainable fashion.

I have never owned a pet before but I would love to adopt an orange tabby kitten.
